Alliance2015 Members at COP22

The 22nd session of the Conference of the Parties (COP22) is being held in Marrakech, Morocco from 7 to 18 November 2016. Its focus is on further hatching out the details of the Paris Agreement, which entered into force on 4 November 2016, especially those related to adaptation, transparency, technology transfer, mitigation, capacity building, and loss and damages.

Climate change and environmental issues are a main concern for Alliance2015 members: Cesvi commitment  is displayed in the progressive attention given to sustainable rural development projects, such as the positive reality of Shashe community, where the population runs an over 90 hectares orange grove, thus transforming a desert area into an economic opportunity.

Two Alliance2015 members, Hivos and HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation, are organizing and/or participating in several side events at COP22. See below for more information on those events and join the discussion.
