Every year at Christmas time Cesvi calls for volunteers to gift wrap presents at the cash desks of some of the biggest chain stores all over Italy.
“Let’s wrap up a dream” is very special experience in the world of volunteering, which allows you to give a bit of your free time to a good cause while having fun and being useful to others.
As Simona, a previous volunteer, tells us “With this initiative Cesvi gave me another chance, if not to make the world a better place, at least to make someone’s life better. It was a small experience of voluntary work that encouraged me to face up to all the difficulties and surprises that cropped up, enriching my store of skills and maturity.”
The funds collected through this precious voluntary work go to the campaign “Stop AIDS at birth”. In particular for supporting seropositive mothers in Zimbabwe so that they can bring healthy children into the world and for giving street children in PDR Congo books, learning and professional training.
