Annual Report 2020: the numbers of our transparency

Cesvi’s 2020 Annual Report is now public. The report represents the punctual description of the projects and interventions carried out in 23 countries over the past year.

2020 has dramatically been characterised by the pandemic, social distancing, global lockdowns. Cesvi has carried out 97 emergency and/or development projects in 4 continents. We have reached more than 1 million and 700 thousand beneficiaries with over 39 million euros of collected funds, especially with respect to the response to the Covid-19 emergency in Italy and some other countries of intervention. For each euro collected, 92 cents are directly delivered to project activities in the field of operations.

“As the pandemic isn’t stopping, neither is our commitment to tackling the health, social and economic emergency, and to supporting the countries in which we operate around the world, including Italy, which are already extremely vulnerable” says Piersilvio Fagiano, General Manager of Cesvi. “We shared our experience in emergency management gained over more than 35 years of activity in the most complex contexts to give a quick and concrete response since the beginning of the epidemic”. It is in this spirit that in 2020 Cesvi has strengthened its effort also in Italy, once again in favour of the most vulnerable, children at risk of maltreatment.

Integrity, respect and the promotion of ethical principles of legality, correctness and social responsibility have always guided Cesvi’s intervention. A commitment that Cesvi maintains and strengthens in its structured and activities year after year.
