Involve your Company and your staff in business voluntary work for Cesvi!

The number of firms that choose this socially responsible strategy continues to grow, allowing employees to dedicate a few hours or days to socially useful activities helping the most disadvantaged communities while learning new skills.

To improve the internal climate and enhance the sense of pride and belonging in the Company it is possible to involve and mobilise staff in awareness-raising activities and fund raising. There are many methods, which can be personalised according to the company’s requirements.

Some examples:

  • payroll giving programme: The Company proposes to staff the giving of one or two hours from their salaries; the sum will be withheld by the Company, which if so agreed will double it under the Matched Giving mechanism; then monthly the total is donated to Cesvi. Alternatively it is possible for the staff to give a single day, during which in house information sessions, fund raising activities or full blown Company events can be held;
  • Public Space voluntary activities, together with events organised by Cesvi (p.e. Mother’s day, etc.)
  • Team building activities;
  • Taking part as a Company team in city marathons or other sporting events.

The objective is to contribute to staff motivation, bring together the various levels within the Company and especially to convert the donations into water, food, schooling and solid help for children and communities in the southern hemisphere.
