Virus Free Generation is a public campaign aimed at raising awareness among young people in Europe about the impact of HIV/Aids in southern Africa. The campaign also focuses on mobilising the youth in Europe to lobby for education, prevention and access to medicines for young people in southern Africa.
Virus Free Generation is an initiative of the Alliance 2015. The Alliance believes that HIV/Aids is both a human rights and development issue. Young people in Africa, like those in Europe, also have the right to sex education, treatment and condom use.
We believe that it is possible to achieve a virus free generation if we all commit to supporting effective HIV/Aids prevention in southern Africa.
